InI Irish

Welcome to my bio, hosted by

Iesha N. Irish, also known as I.N.I., is a primarily self-taught contemporary realist/portrait painter. She enjoys photography and custom brooch design as well. She is a graduate of Hunter College of New York City, with a Bachelors of Arts in Media and Minor in Art. Currently, she is enrolled in a Masters of Library Science program at Queens College. She also works as a Librarian Assistant, where she heads Artistic Teen, an art program teaching teens to draw and paint.

Iesha has a unique style to her painting. The eyes of her subjects are usually a bit larger in size, resembling her own. Inspired by the paintings of Frida Kahlo, where a touch of her image is in all of her subjects. Iesha’s main influence comes from twentieth and twenty-first century pop culture and politics, depicting some of the most significant people of those eras.

Things you may not know about me:

  • I also like to sleep.
  • I like to sing but I can't.
  • I hate reggaeton.
  • I am allergic to ignorance.

*Edit: Fun fact: Iesha has been vegan for quite some time!
