Hi, my name is Gabrielle and I am a student in the GSLIS program at Queens College. Library school is amazing, especially because I love to read! I did not decide to go into Library and Information Science until recently…I’ve been over the restaurant industry for a little while now but all of my schooling has been in Hospitality. Realizing it was time for a career change I had to reflect deeply on what I truly love to do and how to apply that to a career. It took a while but I finally realized libraries and museums are my favorite places to spend my time. I love information centers, learning and helping others to learn. So I’ve embarked on this new journey, I am here to obtain a dual degree in Library Science and History and to obtain a certification in archives and preservation of cultural materials.
