About Me

Hello, I am Ciara Brown, a student in the MLIS program at Queens College. I am currently taking my core courses, one of which is 700 The Technology of Information. In this course I am learning how to use various information technologies to enhance my skill set and prepare to be a librarian in the 21st Century.

I will learn how to:

• Make a website with HTML
• Create Wiki pages
• Use Social Media for the workplace.

My Interests

I have too many interests, but here are a few, in no particular order:

• Traveling (see more about that here)
• Music (some all-time favorite artists: Harry Styles, Arctic Monkeys, Paramore, Queen, Elton John, Vampire Weekend)
• Books (duh)
• Spider-Man (see below)
• DC Comics (better than Marvel, with the exception of Spider-Man. He's the best, I don't make the rules.)
• Crocheting (it's my grandma era)
• My cats (I have two, they're perfect)
